I wanted to give a big “Thank You” to everyone reading poetry this month, whether it’s mine or others!
Poems aren’t just words strung together, as we all may know. It is a reflection of one’s soul, interpretation of their view points on a literary and emotional level, and trials and errors that they have either overcame or dealt with. With each word a person places, they instill all their emotions—in hopes of getting it just right.
From me to you, whether you write poetry or not, thank you. Thank you for reading, even if some seem confusing or not your style. For National Poetry Month—embarrassingly to say I never paid any attention to, I wanted to take the time to give “YOU” the praise for reading as many pieces as you do and supporting those published or not.
"A tramp, a gentleman, a poet, a dreamer, a lonely fellow, always hopeful of romance and adventure." ~Charlie Chaplin
