“A tramp, a gentleman, a poet, a dreamer, a lonely fellow, always hopeful of romance and adventure.” ~Charlie Chaplin
At 16, I became a published poet— not bad for a kid from Guam. Putting my dream of becoming a published poet/author on hold, I joined the military to gain experience on what this world had to offer. Despite the crazy days, I always turned back to writing.
Years later and many failed attempts, poetry found its way back into my heart and soul, revealing the path I’ve ignored before. Not only am I going to go down it, I’m going to prove to my son that dreams can and will be caught.
